Like the title says what is it I figured it was a great thread considering how close we are to it and with my new found interest in mystery tackle box and expanding my interest in different baits for bass why not expand our interests in trout baits and how you fish them

Not bait but a lure. Spinners, absolutely love them, and with the luck I've had... so do the Trout!

How I fish them: Secret technique that I've literally havent seen a single person do and it gets me tons of Trout. :P :P :P :P

smallest spinner you can get and replace the treble with a single...big belly PM's and #0 black fury. as the sun shines make sure you have some roe or berkley pink worm.

roe and spinners, fished with them for 40 years, hard to get confident with anything else as i can't seem to leave it on my line long enough to give it a chance.  Have heard good things about the pink worms.....  Have seen weghted flies and wolley buggas get plenty of fish.

Anything will work, depending on conditions ( same things I'll use any other day for the most part ).  Depending on pressure, say for instance the entire pool in running roe ( which often times is the case ) I'll throw on something different to entice a bite.

I'm trying to get a fish tomorrow on a chartreuse beer can tab
