Right now i frequent mill pond in milton, its very close. trying to get those trout but they don't seem interested in dew worms from the dock. too many little guys there, but i always see them right infront of me. need to try other spots.. would like to get some big bass later this year somewhere.
going out tonight to get some (weedless?) spinners and maybe some spoons? and eventually a new light/medium rod is what i need, as i have a 5ish foot light caster i believe and its a little too short for me.
If i knew of better locations i would try for anything really. ive been to mountsburg in the past years and got perch mostly. I don't know anyone else very interested in fishing, and i don't have boat access anywhere so im really in the dark on where and what to use and all alone lol.
hilton falls is close, i will probably visit soon.

Thats one thing i have a question about, does the millpond here in Milton have decent sized bass? or pike? Ive only pulled out 6-7 inch bass, never a pike, and the rumor has always been that there isn't anything worth fishing for.

I've never caught one but I know a buddy who has. I'll ask for pictures... Was near the end of July when he hooked it.

hi.
hilton falls has some nice bass, but try to work the bottom with a crankbait. remember, pike season opens this weekend, but bass season isn't until the third saturday in june. mountsberg is great. if you have a canoe, hit the little bays around dusk. mid day, if you don't have a canoe, i have had success at the creek below the dam and the spot on the railroad tracks where the water travels from one side of the tracks to the other.
i have caught trout at burns, near mountsberg, but on the other side of the 401.
there are some quarries nearby that have nice bass.
although it's not REALLY in your area, make a trip out to cambridge and try puslinch lake, or, better, little lake, which is right beside it...
crawford lake has a fishing ban, as there are indian artifacts on the bottom (the lake doesn't turn over) and they can't risk churning up the water.
