Hi Guys,

 

I know this isn't fishing related, but it is important. You may have seen it on the news already, but I thought I'd post it here anyway. 

An Ancaster man named Tim Bosma listed his Dodge Ram pickup truck for sale online. On Monday evening (May 6) he went for a test drive with two men and hasn't come back.

Tim is a husband and father and is dearly missed by many!

The Hamilton Homicide unit is currently investigating due to the suspicious nature of the disappearance.

 

Police have released some descriptions of the two men:

 

 

• male white, 6’1” to 6’2”, 170 to 180 lbs, mid 20’s, light to medium short brown hair, unshaven, wearing blue jeans, long sleeve orange shirt and running shoes
•  male white, 5’9” to 5’10” , small to medium build, early to mid 20’s, dark hair red hooded with hood up over his head.
• These males were last seen in Mr. Bosma’s vehicle described as a 2007 dodge Ram pick up black in colour, Ontario licence plate 726 7ZW.

 

 

Please keep an eye out for a black 2007 Dodge Ram 3500 diesel pickup truck, plate #  726 7ZW and call police if you see anything!

Update on this: 

 

Maybe you heard this on the news already, but here's the latest:

 

Tim's cellphone was found in an industrial area in Brantford.  Police  have traced the call made to Tim's phone by the one of the men who came to the house. Additionally, these same two men test drove a similar truck the day before in Etobicoke. The owner of that truck was not harmed, but the police say there were some similar suspicious circumstances. He has given a more accurate description of one of the men: He has a tatoo with the word "Ambition" on this wrist with a box around it, where one would wear a watch.

 

Police are asking anyone who has a business in Brantford with some kind of surveillance equipment to check it for Monday evening between 9:30 and 10:30 and report any activity.

This may sound stupid but,

 

Maybe tim wanted to get away with the boys and fabricated a story. Told his wife this stuff but then saw the nation presence and now is hiding.

That would be the best case scnario.

 

Hope they find this dude and the guys who are involved. I have posted and sold many things online meeting at my house but more commonly at the mall. If people would excersie some common sense I am sure these things could be avoided.

I have met Tim at a place I used to work, he was a customer a few times, he is a good guy and was never impatient and rude like our "regulars."

I'm praying for a good ending to this.

Good news! Police have found one of the two kidnappers and have charged him. I would assume they are now trying to get info from him... sadly Tim still hasn't been found.

 

Hopefully they can find him soon.

It all just doesn't add up. The accused came from money, he didn't need to steal a pickup. And even if hedid need to steal it why would he do it in such a traceable way?all photos of Tim paint a picture of an all around good guy, this is a sad day.

tim ran his own construction company, maybe a deal gone bad? definitely not drug related, my sister knows his family fairly well
