Just wondering what your craziest miscatch is? Last year I accidentally hooked a snapper. One of the scariest experience of my life was trying to untangle the thing. A friend was using a stick to keep its mouth occupied while i untangled its legs. Luckily once untangled the hook fell out of its mouth.

I saw a guy catch a tern once. Looked really funny watching him reel it in, all the while looking up instead of down into the water.

The craziest "miscatch" for me would probably be the 200-300lb blue marlin my dad and I got while fishing at Punta Cana. Also a snapping turtle at Earl Rowe.

Craziest - Some kinda of endangered Hawk/falcon in Florida.

Scariest- Stingray while fishing on the skyway bridge in TAMPA (not Burlington LOL)

Oddest looking - Salt water dogfish

Seagulls get a bad rap. If it was a good one I'm surprised it was interested!

meh they're only pests cause we made them that way by feeding them at parks

i've caught snapping turtles in red bay, with jaws strong enough to snap through a 2 inch branch

Yes, we are the pests. Like Pogo said "we've seen the enemy and he is us"

Hahaha great stories guys I cant imagine a bird getting hooked that would make for an interesting day. When I had the snapper on I thought I had a new pb fish on until the snapper broke the surface and all I could think then was how the heck am I going to get myself out of this situation lol.

.... a World War 1 era motorcycle on salmon gear and a European Spiny Water Flea on a white twister on a tiny lake in Parry Sound District (ok ok so the flea didn't "hit" the jig but he/she hitched a ride on it back to the boat.... I was surprised by the size of that invasive
