Hey all,

Heading up to the Parry Sound area monday. Looking to fish inland.

Just wondering if anyone is on the walleye up there?

I had them dialled in during the opener but I'm wondering if anyone has been having any luck during this cold spell. Seems they could be pretty much anywhere in the water column so I was hoping to narrow it down a bit.

If I get some replies then I will be sure to return the favour with a report on my trip next week.

Fish on!

family cottage in Parry Sound District as every June I simply jig points, islands, shoals with 1/4 oz twisters and cast a crankbait.... as the weather settles this week you should have no problemo finding them on a lake, in a river connected to a lake they may be on their way back to the lake post spawn. On our lake, a portable fish finder is crucial, which we use to find structure.

It might not be too early to throw rattling plugs at night over shallow structure surrounded by deeper water.

Good luck!

Thanks a ton!

They were out of the rivers on Georgian bay 3 weeks ago. Just wondering if it is the same for inland.
