What's your favourite bass technique and lure?
Last year mine was a black weedless football jig with a dark Berkeley crawfish.
Dragging a brown or green tube along the bottom while drifting usually produced as well.

Always love top water at dawn or dusk. Its awesome getting a hit on a hula popper or other surface lure in calm waters with low light levels.

True enough ... I've only hit a few fish on Hula's but you're right ... nothing like seeing that big splash!

Or hearing and feeling it but not seeing it in the dark. You miss some, but it gets the adrenalin going

I let a fire tiger spinner flutter 1 inch from the surface. Very effective on bass.

6lb mono and firetiger mepps aglia. Because when you toss it in the water that holds just about 5 species...you will most likely hook four(trout, lmb, smb & bullhead all in one pool) except the carp.
