Saturday on the water was pretty much a right off with the rain. Went out first thing in the morning and caught a few small bass then got drenched so came in. Went out again after it stopped and then it started up again so once again came in. The fish were biting but nothing big. Probably caught close to 10 fish in 2 30 minute spans.

Went out Sat evening and thankfully no rain. Landed a bunch of fish but again nothing huge. Kept the 3 biggest ones for a pic and released them all. All fish are coming in the 10 FOW range near weed lines.



Sunday morning I went out and caught a crap load of bass but once again only one decent smalie tha weighed a hair over 4 lbs, 4 lbs 1 oz to be exact. The rest were all small in nature. As you can see the second biggest looked like a minnow next to the first.





Anyways another fun weekend on the water. Hope the weather holds up this coming long weekend but early forecasts show rain and T-storms for both Sat and Sun so lets hope it doesn't rain constant. Cheers.

Cannot wait until September to finally fish rice lake, I'm new on this forum and from what I see you fish rice lake a lot. Just one question, what's the fishing like there in September?

Nice weekend, beautiful colored fish. Less than two weeks for our first Rice Lake trip. Cant wait! Always enjoy your posts . Thanks!
