HOT BUTTON ALERT!
Let the chat record show I CANNOT STAND Bears Grylls..... i bumped into one show 2 years ago, he is strolling thru the woods, came upon a gorgeous boa, and this moron grabbed a thick tree branch and proceeded to club it to death.... sick

What an IDIOT! Pretty much all the misconceptions from old generations about predators being bad and needing to be killed is continued in popular media. He kills way to many stuff, and the issue I have with that, is that their is no way he can use even half the meat from some of things he kills, like a 50 pound wild boar... If you can't tell I don't like him either. What are your thoughts on Les Stroud?

Les Stroud "Survivorman" is a much better show.
He shows actually useful survival tactics - Ive personally learned that you can make fire with just about anything! chocolate, doritoes, a flashlight etc.
And he doesnt do much killing in the show, and anything he does kill he uses to the fullest extent.
There was that one episode where he was in Alaska? I think. Lucky bugger caught like half a dozen artic char, surival was easy.
