Got out this morning before work and managed a nice little pike. Was after the bass but I'll take it.

That is a good looking pike. When I head out, I always head out with every species that is in season on my mind. I find that it allows be to almost never be skunked, because if the bass aren't biting, the carp are or the sunfish...

Carp are always my go to fish on rice lake! Will always have a high population of them and you can catch them off any shore!

Nice looking pike. There's a rowing regatta on the Welland canal tomorrow, that I'm competing in. I think I might bring my gear and do some fishing while i'm there.
