Im planning to hit up a local spot tommorow, but weather network says its most likely going to rain.

Just wondering from all of your grand experiences, does rain affect carp action?

Went down to a local park on saturday.

I got a bite within my first 5 mins, i set the hook into something super heavy and my line snapped right away.

I got another bite 20 mins later and set the hook. got to enjoy 2 mins of fight before this one jet into lake o.

line snapped again.

the results werent what I hoped for but still had alot of fun my first day ou this year.

plus I saw a man that kinda looked like you hammer, lol.

were you by any chance down in mississauga saturday?

a nice gent came up to us to talk about carp.

You know it. What line do you use? I think I saw a reel slap full of braid... :D I've been 10lb mono since the start, like spider wire or tri-line.

I wouldn't be able to fish if my line was made from cheese, cause I would be busy eating

was using a 10 lb mono.

was too lazy to change it from last year.

im pretty sure its not my knot, ive won that knot tying competition at the fishing show twice...

my buddy said that my line was probably a bit dry since it was snapping so easily.

its since been replaced with fresh 20 lb mono.
