Owning a boat, you learn lessons along the way. Even if it's just a 12 foot dingy with a 30 lb thrust troller.

My GF and I were trolling along in the river and she got snagged so I turned around the boat and then realized before it was too late that I didn't reel in my 14 lb test black fireline. The motor seized on me. LOL. Good thing I wasn't far from the launch so rowing wasn't that bad.

The green line must be the 8 lb braid I was using last year. The other line I have no clue. Wonder how long that bird's nest has been in there?

Lesson learned. Also, don't leave your battery in the garage over winter without charging it once in a while. Oops!

It seems like the 30lb thruster didn't put up much of a fight. just kidding. It happens to most of us though. Happened to me once...but like dugger said...not as intense as that one.
