Thats 100% not true. The runs almost always start in the east and come west a week or more later. I find it hard to believe any fish can be seen in PC. Reason being it its warm out and clear skys. The water is also very muddy in PC. From what I know of Salmon this time of year, they wait for over cast or at least cloud cover and much cooler waters before you can start spotting them. I have a feeling your friend is seeing carp surfacing as I have seen this past weekend and spoke with a couple of the "resident fishers"

Further more how do you know you have spotted a 15#er? The actual size of these fish are very hard to spot fish in 2' of water let alone the mouth of a river.

Next rainfall, I shall post up. PC is one of the spots I can readily access and I have been watching it VERY closely this year. I have been speaking with people in the PC area, one of the guys that works with me actaully lives a 3 minute walk from the river. He has said to me there arent many fishers there, he is seeing many carp on the surface. Which from what I know is fairly normal for this year.

Gentlemen, we may not always be around - if there is something pressing, PM me and I'll get on it ASAP.  Work, life, fishing, etc. pile up and sometimes we can't be here all the time.

Thanks to the member who messaged me about this and remy for bringing it to everyone attention in the shoutbox.  This is a community and communities work well when everyone works together.

Cheers gents.
