Anybody ever been?
I am heading up there next week for about 4 days. Super excited for some good fishing. As a kid I would go up there and have many memories of catching multiple pike and walleye.
I haven't been up for about 7 or 8 years now and was wondering if anyone knows how the fishing is there lately.
I think the lake is mainly known for its walleye Muskie and pike. But I'm hoping to target bass as well.
Will have access to a small aluminum boat with electric trolling motor, a canoe, and a paddle boat. And also a dock to fish from. No fish finder.
I recall the lake being very very weedy.
Can not wait!

Hey I live just down the road from nos and fish it all the time. Pike and Muskie fishing is still very good. 50"+ have come out of here. You gotta be able to find the sunken island which is in the middle of the lake on the eastern side. Comes up to about 4-5 feet from 35-40. Good smally fishing on top of it. Good musky fishing around it. I wouldn't say the bass fishing is great as I never seem to do that well but that could just be me. Walleye is good spring and fall but I have a hard time in the summer. Hope you have a good time. Message me if you have more questions. Don't want to give away all the secrets on here.

Oh btw that attached map is bs. Tried following it. All lies.
But it'll get you started at least.

Thanks guys
Was looking at that map earlier. Kind of confusing.
I will be on the eastern side of the lake. Sunken island will be straight on out from where I am. I think it may be too far away for the boats I am limited to!
