Hey guys,

Ive been wondering what bass are hitting nowadays. Ive thrown topwaters and caught 2 largies. I recently bought a Culprit Spinnerbait in the fire tiger colour. They are only 2.50 at walmart, so i decided i would give it a go. I can give you a list of things ive tried, but i'd rather get input from u guys

thanks and tight lines,

Hasn't anyone here tried a senko!? easiest bait to use in shallow water and even in 10ft you can use a wacky rigged senko. I personally(being fortunate to have a boat) use a lot of bass jigs and use a zoom super chunk or KVD creature bait as my trailer. Depends on what type of structure you are fishing for.

You're too concerned about the colour. What bass want can change hour to hour. You need to experiment with different baits and colours and let the bass tell you what they want. I personally like to have at least 3 colours of a specific bait, a light, medium and dark coloured. I don't worry too much about the specific colour as i do the shade.

When you do find out what the fish are bitin its a good feeling. Good luck!

i just bought senko knock offs called sticko-s and apparently they work amazingly. But wacky rigs, IMO, snags too much. I like texas rigs.

Wacky doesn't always snag, and you can use it in deeper water. not just the 1-2 ft mark. the sticko Bass pro shops make? or a different brand

Hey concant,

U are right, I am too worried about colours. I really need to think about shades, well off to lebarons or bps.

If your not busy I will be working from 1-10 tomorrow. Just come look for Alex. The BPS ones I only really like 2 colors from their brand. The others are decent. Gary Yamamoto has much better colors.

Hey man,

I won't be able to make it tomorrow, but I'll let u know when I'll be around Vaughan. I actually live in mississauga, so it's a long drive. I might be going to wonderland, as my cousin will be visiting.

Thanks
