Lets be real, is any of this even close to being new? and probably not limited to any ethnic demographic.

As a kid we used to cottage on Georgian Bay just outside Midland.  Talking early-mid 70's.  There were people then doing the same thing keeping every rock bass, perch and Sunfish they landed.  My dad and uncle would curse about it and wonder why the hell they would keep 6" rock bass or sunfish.

Sounds like nothing has changed except the ethnic origin of those being blamed and now easy dissemination of information and complaints via the interweb

Thankfully I don't fish downtown to face the rath of Torontonians, thankfully aside from the white bucketers I've never met anyone that gave me a hard time while fishing and I hope it stays that way, but as I think Ijay said I've got a 4" pocket knife for fishing and cutting line etc, but I would never use it on someone unless it was life or death, I always fish where I'm visible to someone if I fall and can't get out of the water etc. The reason I'm bringing this up because I was out once on a pier and say someone trip on an idiots rod while fighting a salmon or pike or something and he went straight in and this guy was holding onto the railing not having anything to cut the line with, obviously he didn't want to let go of his rod. The guy who's rod it was who tripped him had a knife in his hand and the guy who fell in was asking for it so he could cut the line but all that a'hole said was "find your own" like wtf ????? But someone else rushed in and cut his line and helped him out moral of the story keep a knife on you lol and don't fish in downtown lol( sorry for all the typos testing out new tablet)

wow.. that's insane!

If you're keeping a knife with you, then make sure the blade doesn't easily open. These situations can get quite a bit more dangerous because of bad equipment.

I would like to add to shoulda .... post. When you see dude with a handgun or riffle do not walk away. He can shoot you from the back anytime, you'll never know what's in his mind bro. Look for any objects you can use, rocks, branches, your fishing rod, lures. 1st you have to distract him, keep calm, be patient, talk to him, ask him what he is trying to catch, tell stories, give him tips If you can on how to catch easily and where the honey holes are, tell him that you want to show some pictures on your cellphone If you have one and grab his Riffle or handgun when you're close enough. Dudes like this will piss in their pants when they lose their guns and aim his gun on him, tie him up with your fishing line or zip tie, then call the cops.

I remember 1 dude pulled a knife out on me years back. I have nothing to fight that dude back, I look around for rocks or anything but theres none. He tried to stabbed me few times, I moved back and pretend that I grab a big rock on the ground behind. I tried to make my fist looks like I have that big rock and tried to hit his face with that, he hesitated. I begin attacking him and aiming that fist on his face, without a big rock on my hand, he moved back and keeps moving back. Later on bystanders help out and cops cuffed him up.

I believe if you come here you should have one year to learn basic English through a government sponsored program. After that year you can't past test. See you later. You arnt here to contribute anyways. You want to come work and contribute to society by all means come. No more leeches!

I agree with you. If you have something to chip-in, by all mean come in, work and enjoy what our country has to offer. Dont just come be a social parasite, taking everything and giving nothing. And choose not to learn our language and get mad when we cant understand you. I live in scarborough man, I see this Crap all the time. Im all for immigration to improve our economy, but are the people comming over willing to work? Or just willing to over populate and collect?
