All dollarama near me has put away their 2nd stash of lures for the holidays. I wish I stocked up on the blue/silver spoons.....Just lost one, only got 2 left. Going to go to a big dollarama a bit further away to see if they have the lures.

I wouldn't use any of the first 4 (doesn't mean they don't have a use, but I am not sure how to present them), but the last one is deadly for all game species.

http://www.acmetackl...shing-lure.html

theres a video there that shows the action of the lure.

The 3rd and 4th ones from the left are for slow retrieval.

I haven't found any lures that I wanted in my local $---pretty poor selection. But I have found beads and-----here's something ST could brag about  :lol: -----styrofoam beads, red colored. 1 bead is about equal to 4-5 tiny ones from tackle shops. I find those little tiny ones have lots of static and stick to my fingers when tying roe bags for bottom bouncing.

Basspro& Canadian Tire -> 17lb @ 330 yd = $10.99

Dollarama -> 17lb @ 100 yd = $2.50 -> $8.25 @ 330 yd

Pretty darn happy :) Ganna spool it up on my reel and try it tomorrow or sunday.

330yd of 17lb test I get. Its understood as useful and as a bargain... but 100yd of 17lb??? o.0

Sorry but I just dont get it.. Unless your using that for rigging it seems like a waste of time.

Unless your spooling onto an ultralight... but then why would you use 17lb? lol Sorry but I'm just confused. I've seen mini packs of line but only up to 8lbs at 100yds. which pretty much conforms to many ultralight reel capacities..

So its for rigging right?

I cast 130 yds, so maybe I just dont get the UL world. =)

I dont cast more than 40-50 yards so I have a use for it.

Also, whats your combo for the 130 yard cast?

I'll take a pic when I get a chance.

Did you tune them?  If it wanders to the right, take a pair of pliers and ever so slightly bend the eyelet to the left until it swims straight and vice versa.  Cheap cranks don't come out of the package "tuned" like name brands...  May save you some $$$ and turn some of them into fish magnets.
