I want to fly and float fish from my canoe but i think the back cast might tip us and the pin might get tricky sitting down with a 13 ft pole lol. So i would like to look into outriggers, homemade formulas or store bought ones. Any links or info is appreciated.

Not only that but i get sore after a few hours and my casting isn't as far or accurate as standing up.

I have seen a couple people use those outrigging boards from thier canoes.

So they set thier bait at a depth and leave the float there as they paddle away. Success rate? Not sure of.

I know for kayaks at Sail they sell "portable pontoons" to attach to them so that you can stand up for fly fishing purposes or what not.
