I'm going fishing with a buddy on Tuesday and the forecast is calling for some pretty high temperatures. I usually avoid fishing in that sort of heat; but sometimes you gotta fish whenever you get a chance.
I was just wondering what works for you guys once the temperatures start to get high like that? Typically I'll just switch to a stick bait and let er sink to the bottom and usually get some hits.
I'll be starting off early morning maybe with some top waters and crank baits.
By the way, off shore fishing.

Thanks.

I pretty much do the same as you... I've had luck downsizing my stickbait from a senko, to a shakyhead style worm. It's harder to cast, so I go long rod and light line, but the smaller, more subtle action generates more hits. Looking forward to see some others responses.
