This is to try to organize the effort to have stickers and t-shirts made for our forum. There is already a thread were different designs are discussed - a great way to get feedback from other members.
I looked up what image specification are required to have stickers and t-shirts made. If you would like to submit your own designs please note the following:
Stickers
- Size: 8.25" X 3.25" - other sizes can also be printed, but let's focus on this size first
- Images must be 1/8" away from the edge
- If using Photoshop or any other type of image editing software be sure to create your artwork at 100% size ordered with a minimum 300dpi (dots per inch)
- All fonts should be no less than 10pt in size.
- Use solid colors when possible
T-Shirts
- max size of 15 x 15 inches
- minimum 4000x4000px 200dpi vector graphics
- we will most likely use http://www.spreadshirt.com/us-ca - visit their website for details, and to use their design software.
Once we have few designs ready (please PM me if you want to submit one) we will let members decide which one they like the most. Depending on the price we will distribute stickers for free or only to cover shipping and printing costs. We will also keep the markup for t-shirts to minimum.
