the most enjoyable trips i've had this year were up lil creeks by myself catching smaller fish (trout n chubs) but you do occasionally catch a nice size one.
I'd keep that spot to my self if i was you. I recently told someone of a spot that i've never seen any one in for years and now i see people there regularly (including the guy i told). Lesson learned. I now understand BETTER why we don't name tribs and locations.

Nice little fish. I have yet to find a creek like that close to around here that holds trout.. To be honest don't think it exists.

Yeah.. I think they would do just great stocked in the GTBA area (Greater Thunder Bay Area) ... The MNR used to stock Brook Trout in the down town creeks during the 1930's & 1940's when my dad was a kid but stopped.buck said:

My dad and his friend use to peddle their CCM bikes to the creek to meet the Ford Model T hatchery truck from the Dorion Fish Hatchery back then they called this section of the Neebing River Six Mile Creek & the Creek just past it Seven Mile Creek each Neebing River trib named after it's distance from town.buck said:

Not even 30 seconds away.
Unfortunately due to the low waters these days that stream is a mere trickle now. I was there earlier this year but only found tiny Specks in the diminished waters.

Hey smackum i drove through thunder bay last weekend and it looks like you guys got a ton of potential hotspots for stream trout...im jealous

Yeah... There are lots of creeks & rivers flowing into both Lake Superior & Lake Nipigon..
