Is there any chance that the area is also convenient for non-wading anglers? just spent a couple $$ for a new float gear. and my waders are not really winter friendly.

the spot we went last year certainly is. What type of waders do you have? If they are breathable then just layer up underneath them. Its nice to be able to get out a bit in the water.

Appreciate it. A friend just told me to check some stores. There could be breathable waders on sale right now.

They have their breathable waders on sale from 199$ to 99$. I picked one up and first time wear, took them off and socks were soaked on both feet. They leaked at the seams.. who knows, maybe it was just a faulty one but thought i'd throw this one out there.

Just like anything else i guess. Some are faulty and some are solid. They were pretty comfortable though for sure.

I'm a maybe, can we possibly do something closer than the geen? It's a lot to do two weekends in a row over 3 hours away.

I'm in.
Does this suffice or do I need to join some type of google fraternity?

I don't know of a better spot than the geen for something like this. If you add an additional 30 guys to any given trib in Ontario, it could be chaos. Geen can handle it though.

I'm in. The 'geen is good with me as is any week-end. I would suggest we make it not the same week-end as the Saugeen Steelheaders derby this year which is Oct 19. Last year we coincided with their derby and with all of us too there was a lot more people on the river than most week-ends.

 From the time I was 16 until I was 25 we used to drive to S'hampton ( the 'geen ) from Brampton at least 25 times a year, often 3 or 4 week-ends in a row.

Alfie.
