My fly rod came with the the same kind of hard pink case.....very cute and right up my alley!
I'm actually looking for something that will hold a 7-8 ft 2 pc rod......pink is a bonus! or maybe necessary....still not sure....

Isn't 540 a little heavy for a 6 switch ??? My 7wt tops out at 460 by rio's chartsAirflo...Scandi Compact 540grns.

Will i misunderstood cc's post as a suggested line at first as well.its for his own rod. I am gunna get a 420grain of the same line in the spring to give underhand casting a go

On Saturday I picked up a 2 piece 6'6" MH Fast action Fenwick HMX.
Feels like a nice spinning rod and I'm looking forward to getting out with it.

I just ordered 25 more jigs from : http://www.siebertoutdoors.com/main.sc some of the best jigs out there. Also bought 20 bags of different trailers ( zoom, rage ). Plus 10 new spinner baits, and some 20 pound power pro. Also picked up a new spinning reel for my spinning setup ( Shimano Symetre ).
For fly fishing I also picked up some rio gold 5wght line and a few leaders and tippets for this season.
