I haven't found one yet but I'm looking for a 7ft, medium/heavy, fast action and 2 piece.
I'm hoping to spend around $150 on the rod.

Nice reels - Catfish is a die hard pinner.
PUMP those top waters are making my mouth water - the classics outperform the frogs and mice available today, at least for me they do.

There are very few 2pc casting rods on the market, but one that I have been considering myself is a Rapala Shift 7'1 MH 2pc. SAIL also has 2pc 13 fishing Omen Black 7'1 MH casting rods, but I have heard that they aren't very good.

Thanks, I'll check it out.
Not new, but deff a great reel
Cannot find many more in this shape
Daiwa Alpha 103 with Boca 7 bearings
The bearings make this a fantastic perfomer. IMO the bearings are worth every penny.
Nice
Question...What makes a good baitcaster?
This curado is my first baitcaster.

Question...What makes a good baitcaster?
from what i understood. castability, and the adjustment of the magnets for the same reasons, and the right ratio for the type of bait used. highest ratio are for drop shooting(soft bait) in and around structures. slower ratio for crank baits and hard lures.
I would assume drag is important, but if you see bass guys they use ropes to fish so i dont think they care either.
