fresh from centerpinangling.com...was like a kid during xmas last night....soo ready for this weekend..if it happens

Those hooks are awesome, hopefully you have a solid rod  though.

This is first time i am starting to bead fish, so it is going to be a journey for me. i just hope one colour works with out me needing to trial and error.

change it up depending on water colour as you would do so with an egg bag.

you've got colors for all conditions there. Glo roe for clear water, chartreuse for first light/last light/dirty water, dead egg imitations like cotton candy and whatever that other color you have there is I mix in every now and then and all the other colors in my box are just there incase someone is smashing them on that color.

 

If the fishing is slow I switch colors every 15 minutes or so until I find one that works.

should i uuse roe sacs? planning to keep the bead no more than 1.5 inches. also for first light just a bead?

before and during first light I do bag and a bead. The only other time I do bag and bead is in dirty water, otherwise I choose one or the other.

yeah figured. since they can't really see they small. anyone try double bead single hook? 1.5 inch apart?

Gearing up for the hardwater here in AK.  I picked up a few aero jigs the other day.  This is my go to jig as it has caught the most and largest fish.  It out fishes bait.  Hopefully I will be on the ice by next week.
