Went out to an East Trib/Pier last night - shoulder to shoulder people around 11pm (as I had suspected). Stayed till about 3am. I saw 3-4 hookups/losses, and only 2/3 fish caught. There were a few jumping around us as well. Water was like chocolate milk. I too hooked up using a orange glow cleo, but after fighting it for 15mins, I was at the mercy of an impatient boat wanting to pass by, so I rushed her and she spit the hook. That and I likely didn't have a good hook set.
So I am left with sore forearm and pride. What a good fight though, love it.
