from my understanding fluorocarbon has an extremely poor knot strength, so i would extremely strongly suggest you use a mono shot line for two reasons. 1, folour damage really quick when you put the weights on it, 2, even though red wing is the cheapest leader line, why waste of leader mat on a shot line. i am personally against shot line, due to so how much of a hassle it is in shallow water and chance of a knot failing is high.
your set up should be fine. need a soft rod for that 4.4 though. it is very thin.
