I've had some close calls as well, credit river after a large melt, started to get washed downstream, had to start running to catch my feet. BC, was crossing a seemingly slow pool about waist deep, tripped and just caught a rock, managed to pull myself up onto a large boulder sticking out of the water while my dad threw a branch, that was some nasty water. Almost had an incident crossing the credit a couple other times as well, parts of it are really just an accident waiting to happen, be careful!!!

i can remember the day me and my bro were in this river, i managed to wade under the bridge where there was a nice deep pool then i decided to face downstream to trot the drift a bit better, literally one step away from the footing of the bridge was a hole about 4 feet in diameter and 5 feet deep,,, went right to the bottom, im just lucky enough the water was just not freezing cold yet, and it was towards the end of fall when water levels were lower, if it was in the spring i would have been taken to lake O easily for sure,,, just be carefull out there guys!
