Actually Nado thanks for naming those motels. If you name all the others in S'hampton and Port too. You will be right once.

The reason I was offering to set this up is I don't have a credit card and can't really pre-book, which would be why I ain't naming names. I have quite a number of PMs asking me the name and if I gave the name to everyone of those I wouldn't have a place to stay when I get there. There is a limited number of rooms and I have more PMs than that.

Just booked 2 nights in at the manor. I stayed there last year. Nice folks who own it and are very accommodating. Alfee. Just a heads up. When your this far from civilization. You don't need a credit card to book a room. They just que you in .

Lol. S'hampton is not far from civilization. I work on the road all the time and most motels do require a credit card to cover any damage that may occur. Actually a year ago working in Kapuscasing, of all places, we were required to put down $1,000 as a damage deposit cause no one had a card. Kap is far from civilization. It was refunded right away when we left.

Anyway we are in so Huron Haven is the place. As of 2 pm yesterday they still have vacancies. Also nice people, talk to Brian or Joan. I told them some of you may be calling.

Trailer Park is the central gathering spot and we all branch out from there and and rendevouz back at the park periodically.

 

Looks like the weather gods are with us for this weekend. Rain tonight and then not much more for the rest of the weekend so we should be good!
