Buy a bunch of trout beads and you will catch fish. Learn how to set them up at www.troutbeads.com and you will be into fish in no time as they are a bait you can't miss with.

Welcome !!! Where are you out of??and what do you have for gear and and what type go fishing do you want to do (hard bait ,live bait ,bottom bounce , float exc)
Thanks for the response w_boughner. Im out of the gta and live near allen rd and 401 so I've driven to most of the tribs within a half hr drive both east and west. I have a 10' noodle rod with a spinning reel set up and I have a few types of beads and some fake roe (gulp and similar). I've been using a float setup with a 2 foot leader and weights in 4 diff places. Is the leader too long/short? Or should I just be patient?

I think thats a fine length for your leader....questions is....do u adjust your float to the depths of the holes you are fishing in? Your bait should be on the bottom.
Scattered weights may work depending on how quick the current is. At Sail I found a great little book that shows you all the different set ups and how they flow in the water. Good buy!

Thanks so much! I actually have that book! Haven't looked at it since my first time out gonna take another look at it tonight! I wasn't sure if it should be on the bottom or a few inches off the bottom so the fish can see it better and I wasn't sure where the fish are if they're holding at the bottom or closer to the surface or in between. Thanks!

That book is great but I couldnt really understand it until I fished the river with Dozer today (he's da bomb). Now everything makes sense!
