Like nado says they drift nice. I find the "fat top" not durable enough for my needs. Broke the tops off two before they even made it to the creek

I'm surprised to hear they broke. I got a dozen just stuffed I'm my chest pack and have yet to break one

hmmmm ya me too. I guess the only downside would be storing these long stem floats as I cant put them where I normally do but that would be the same for any long stem float.

for storage go to the dollar store and get a pencil case.  Works like a charm

Right on,  That's a Nice looking steel.......   How Do You Like The Free Roe Floats

I didn't realize that "Free" was the brand name. But if that's the case I caught one at the GTG using a free Free roe float!! (I thought the tail would break off more easily than the stem??)

You mind sharing the river no need on specifics you can PM me if you want. Reason i'm asking because it looks beautiful i i would like to explore it in spring summer for fly fishing. Once again just if you willing to share the name i will totally understand if you don't.

that pool was completely frozen over yesterday, I broke up a bunch of the ice but couldn't get it clear enough to get a drift through.

LAST DAYS OF MOVEMBER

Went out for a lovely -17 morning on my local tribs.  In between Icebergs and the very heavy slush run I managed to pull out this beauty.   Its been a tough movember for me so I was super stoked to be able to get a nice MO POSE!!!!!
