Ok, thx guys. Obviously I know very little about cohos, as apparently did the guy who told my friend it was a coho. The hump on the back did not come from holding the fish---it was that way when he caught it. That's why he asked somebody(apparently the wrong person) what it was. So I'm still a bit puzzled re the hump. I guess it could be from am injury sustained by the fish.
