Hi All,

 

My name is Eddie and I have a serious fishing problem. Everyday when I wake up, my first thoughts are fishing. Despite my best efforts, I dont seem to be very good at it, but I do tend to get lucky here and there. I've caught assorted pan fish and small catfish, a few decent LM bass, a couple decent SM bass, a bunch of big salmon and rainbows, and more recently a few good walleye. I've landed a few pike, but never really what I was hoping for.

 

I love fishing anytime. If there's someone ready to go, I'll usually cancel any plans and head out.

 

Oh yeah, and im one of those rubberboat guys in the summer, although I recently started renting a 16footer with a 15hp motor and I think I'll be grabbing one of the same by spring

 

I'm really interested in fishing Nippissing for some musky (maybe next weekend? thoughts?) and I'm still seeking out my first carp and first big catfish. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

dude, FG you and i should hit some hidden east tribs. What setup do you use for pike ? i use my mh Casting rod with 60lb braid and cast 1-2 ouce jigs between docks and slam em this time of year and early spring

I'm in for some pike...gotta make up for the one that got away in September. I'm coming down with a stupid head cold right now so if I'm not in bed feeling sorry for myself I might try and go out tomorrow or Tues.
