Waterloo region ice fishing

Started ice fishing a two year ago and looking for some good spots in or around waterloo region.

Not much around here other than small ponds..the lake in Drayton doesn't allow ice fishing because of sketchy ice it forms. Basically any ice fishing in this region would be done on the small ponds in the area give it a couple more cold days and some should be fishable. Just use google maps find a pond and give it a try.

A lot of the CA's have ice fishing, then a couple small ponds, I agree use maps and you'll be able to find them.

Belwood or pushlinch lake any good? Havent been tho those two lakes but i hear there pretty good?

Never heard of any guys doing very well on belwood, puslinch is supposed to be ok but I'm not sure if you're allowed on.

I've barely fished Belwood, but when I did it was in the summer, I caught huge crappie, and saw walleye and pike being caught.

hard to get onto Puslinch no access to it really in the winter because of private property. Guys use to park on the road and walk in but the road has no parking signs now, new this summer. Never fished belwood

Was on an inch n half of ice today in guelph check another spot as I was punching the hole the ice started to crack around me got sketched out!!! Lol
