I just got a new pop up from Rapala and I've already set it up a few times just for fun.  I chose the Asylum3 (six sided hut, am I crazy) and curious to see how Ill manage on windy days, lol.

I was looking at the two man Rapala cruzer flip over shelter but it weighs in at a cool 87lb so I didnt really have a choice, did I?

To tow it, I got the rapala 56inch low rider sled and pulling harness, lol.

Few more accessories and I'm ready to giggity giggity go.

What do you mean?  Vent when I'm using a heater?

Pops are always mandatory. :)

No no some times if your a walker you tend to walk one two some times three K in order to find the hot spot. Venting out means shedding some layers before the big sweat.

Went to get a shelter this last boxing week, was choosing between Clam Corp Bigfoot XL4000T Ice Fishing Shelter and Sherpa® 6 Man Pop-Up Ice Shelter.

A basspro worker and a customer recommended Clam, because of the poor quality of rapala shelter. One customer mentioned that the sticks in his rapala began to dismember.

Waiting for ice to test Clam Bigfoot XL4000T.

ihtus congrats on your new purchase.
Myself I went with the otter because of the poor quality of the clam. Lol
Just kidding. We all get excited on our new purchases but also no need to criticize others on their choices. Broken poles are very common and alot of times operator error.

Thanks, but I am not criticizing, frankly.. I was about to buy rapala, I like the shape. I just shared here what BP worker told me.

I think rapala huts are great and have yet to had an issue with one. Have a 6 man rap shack and it's great for space as well as the light not piercing into the hut. Clam always a safe bet.
