correct! i just started tying because of the fact that WB flies are like 3.50 each at BPS,

they're $0.95 on reelflies.......basspro is over priced, you can also talk to Chris about buying flies from him as well

Sadly I can't compete with the Reelflies prices unless you buy more than 100 (they can count on selling that many, I can't), but I can beat BPS WB prices by a buck and I'll make them custom, and that's something you can't get from Reelflies.

well not yet you can't, you still have a lot of  years ahead of you, and everyone has to start somewhere.  once you start getting a reliable customer base, you'll be good

My problem is that just about all my stuff is custom, I have a decent customer base but I never know what they're going to order.

thats true its gonna suck if you tie alot of extra custom flies for a customer and the next thing he says is change a few things to the pattern,

The tag is thick for my liking and the throat is a little short, but that's just imo. Is that yours IR4J?

LOL, they're a lot of fun really, just can't expect to really do a complex one in one sitting. You should post a pic of yours!

I'll be demonstrating this one tonight at Winter Hatches http://streamers365....review-pattern/

This one isn't mine but I'll post the variation I'm tying after tonight

Very well tied fly IR4J! Especially considering you don't tie them often.

Good looking popper as well, foam?

I appreciate that, in all honesty it took like a whole day... I was taking my boaters and as some of you know the online course is like 4 hours, so I tied during it LOL.

Thats another thing I wish I could tie well is poppers, that one looks very nice yak! should take many a bass this summer

Another small set of bass foam poppers I've tied. I don't always add rubber legs to my poppers, but when I do, I like to cut the legs in different lengths. (Matching on both sides of course).
