rookie mistake.. i tied on tinsel but forgot to wrap it lol. So i cut it off. Need to get some calftail or something for the wing AND add some crystal flash. Didn't have chenille so used some antron purple dubbing. Should've put more on. So much stuff forgotten but it was fun.

Depends on your supplier and quality but macaw is generally around 6$ a feather

Maybe a covert but a tail feather starts at about 20 bucks.

Depends on what length you want, I can get you tail feathers cheaper if you are interested chris. I still know a fair number of show tiers that sell their unwanted product.

I just started tying really so they're just practice ties. Haven't fished them enough to give an honest answer either way as of yet.
