loved it! so far those are the 2 colors that have worked pretty well. white works as well but i'm liking the black and green on stained water.

I make them from size 2 streamer hooks.50 hooks are 4 bucks at sail.I wouldn't pay for shanks to fish on sink tips. I prep the loop,tie the fly and then break the bend off. I find they're sharp if you cut them.

Nothing fancy but these just keep taking fish so I just keep tying them. I'm still struggling with getting the hackle to lay back how I want.

The hackle stem might be getting too twisted when you're palmering it. It'll happen regardless though. It's more aesthetic than anything unless it's the last two wraps by the hook eye.

Strip one side and tie it in and palmer so the stripped side is down

Nice squids there swing. I've never fished them before but I have a bunch of sili legs I'm thinkin about trying some. Do you have much luck on them?

Nice....it will fish just fine s4s. I love that colour for hackle tips as well as a barred dark purple wing.

Some more buggers. Pretty soon I'll be tying more nymphs in prep for Chrome. Getting pretty good at this and time per fly is going down.
