That was something. Although as an old-timer, shoot-outs do not belong in Hockey. Nor any other sport come to think of it. Let them play til there is a real winner.

A shoot-out is not playing hockey. Sweden beat Canada in a shoot-out years back, the most disappointing moment of my life.

Amen to this...I really despise the shoot-outs...you either win or lose...I don't care if it is 10 overtime periods.

we can do a playoff pool. but this is the first time i've used this site and i think i read somewhere that it costs money on this site when doing an nhl pool. the other site i do nhl pools is free but i have to manually input everyone's picks, which is too much of a pain in the azz. i'll see if i can find a free one for the playoffs that is easy for people to submit picks on.

I've used it before and maybe we can kinda do the same thing and I wouldn't mind helping out with the entries. The past pools I've done we split the pot, half go to the top 3 of the pool and the other half of the pot we gave to charity (in this case, some conservation of some sort would be a good option maybe) if people are willing to throw in $20 for their team or $10 to start maybe.

Its fun, people enjoy it... .Just an idea to help out at the same time and give back
