Hi Everyone,
Long time angler out of Midland. Usually fishing Georgian Bay, but have some experience in other areas of the province as well. I like to fish for bass, pike and walleye mainly, but also enjoy spec, rainbow and laker fishing. I attempted Salmon fishing in the bay last year but it was more of an introduction to using downriggers. I don't claim any great skill or expertise but I try hard and I enjoy my time on the water.
I have a moderate level of experience in back country canoe fishing and have pre purchased a kayak this year. I will be customizing and learning to fish from that lil beauty when I take delivery in May as well as fishing from my usual boat.
Highlights of fishing include 27" walleye, 40" pike, 300lb marlin (Costa Rica), and a couple of 5 species days on the bay.
I beleive strongly in public access to the lakes and roads in our province to access fishing as well as conservation of our fishery.
I look forward to learning from you and will contribute if I can.
Cheers!!
Paul (Millhouse)
