man there was a tank around 1:12 or something like that! makes me think how much further they will go this year, lots of half hearted jumps but still a sight to see!

What's the point of these ladders anyway? Don't the fish have a better chance to get to the promise land without that wall there?

And how far up the river is this anyway?

Saw it in person today, too many fish are flying into the wall. Does not look like a good design. 

 

More than you can see in the video are hitting the wall beneath the falls. 

 

Nice to see so many fish nonetheless.

Its a dam, fish will hit the wall at any dam, its nothing new, they could've made the entry hole a bit lower or bigger though.

they'll likely still be doing the lift, in late august no way the big chinooks will make it over that. the water will be 6-8 inches lower. will be great for the coho population
