Was out scouting the huron tribs, and did a little early fishing opportunity action the bluewater down. Run looks like its starting just now, cleos and j-13s working better than roe. Dropped the rods to just walk the water, she's cold and fast and as of right now not as chocolatey as i had thought it would be! Cant wait for the opener this weekend!!!!!! good luck to all, and to all a good fight!

I'm guessing you were targeting salmon with the cleos and J 13's, did you see any steel or brookies on your travels? I'm in Colliingwood this weekend for a stag party and will bring my rod just in case I can get a few hours on the river.

cheers,

I was targeting either really. Had a salmon on but lost it. Caught a few steel. Steel was everywhere no browns no brooks but the water was high when I was scouting. Didn't see much fish past blue water. (No I was not fishing past just scouting)
