Myself and others have found it to be offensive and also racist.
I personally think it violates the objectives of OFF.

A few others have requested the same over the last few days.

Agreed! Someone was banned a while ago for retaliating against harsh complaints that he had posted pics of trout on a stringer. Spewing racist BS is much worse. Get that thread outta here.

45 years, I wonder how many tons of garbage I have carried away from our waters.

Hiding it will do no good
If the media doesn't hammer Sterling no action is taken.

When posting a thread like this never mention races... The term "White Bucket Fishermen" is good enough, because we should not focus on the race performing these illegal and immoral acts but more so the "People" themselves.. This genre of fisherman comes in many races and faces... Bottom line is we need better enforcement of our fisheries.....
I'm pretty fed up myself seeing local fishing holes desecrated by irresponsible fishermen who have no regard for other fisherman, nature, and the fishery itself..... When it comes to voting I'm going to seriously take a look at which party's agenda is going to focus more on the care of our environment and fisheries.

It's every individual...whatever is done shouldn't be generalized to a certain race. I have come across a lot of white bucketeers when fishing....they mostly take pumpkinseeds, catfish & carp. judging from the method they fish, they usually target carp/catfish. The most I've seen them take home is pumpkinseed & catfish. Which if you look at the regulations there are no grounds to correct them (let me know if i'm wrong on this one). I've seen them take home tiny fish but knowing the species it is sad that there is nothing I can do because there were no restrictions. I'm not very watchful on other things around me when i'm fishing(who does that?) but when I notice something like littering I do point it out.
And I'm not sure if it was stated but the person who started that thread was fishing w/o license, yes?

Whitebucketophobia: Irrational fear of white buckets, particularly in fishing, especially when used to keep small, undesirable fish, that occur in large numbers and are very easy to catch and will never be overfished because they are so goddamn prolific, such as panfish, suckers and bullhead.

That thread has been locked. As I pointed out in that thread, we are all for discussing the various abuses of the resource, however, race has no place in the conversation.
