Anyone here use a shallow (12lb-110yd) spool on their baitcaster? Have you ever been spooled?

Thinking of getting a shallow spool but afraid of getting spooled by large fish.

Ya man youll be golden. Most casts are around 100 ft for rec. anglers on the high side and thatll leave you plenty of line for drag. (If the fish even takes drag)

110yrds = 330ft or basically the length from home plate to the foul pole on a ball field
