Heres my new Rage rod from St.Croix. New weapon for hauling out those big buckets in heavy cover! Also the Tinsel jig I use all the time. Custom made/hand tied from down south! Paired of course on the Daiwa Tatula 7.1:1 Gear ratio.

I'm avoiding everything tomorrow...if it's going to be a zoo...I might as well go to the Toronto Zoo...plus, I have a prettier lady friend coming along...

Good luck to all. Hope you find a piece of water for yourself without 30 other friends.

Hey guys , after waiting all that time it was finally here. I went out this morning at 6 am. It was a beautiful morning. I only got to fish till 8 am Cuzz some dumbasses in a canoe kept trolling as drifting literally 5 feet in front of me. I ended up catching 3 so it wasn't a wasted day but sucks it ended so quickly.

Here's a photo of my first fish of the year all three were around the same size. No lunkers today but found a great spot to take my family. All three were caught on the cotton Cordell big O crawfish pattern.

This was a special day for me, as it was the first time I was able to use my 14' v that was modified to a poor mans bass boat fishing one of my favorite reservoirs.

Here is a couple of the fish I caught.

All my rods are St. Croix for baitcasters and all my reels are shimano.   One of my new weapons for this season is the Legend tournament Slop and frog mated to a currado.  Pulled at 4lbs frog fish out of heavy cover in St. Annes the following day with 0 worries of losing it.

I honestly love the Rage rods, but of course given my recent sponsorship, I am getting 5 legends. I am a pure heavy cover style fisherman. I like the handles better on the Rage rods.

Also, I am a fan of Shimano Reels but not so much their rods. I currently use a mix of Revos/Daiwa tatulas/and a couple of the new curados.
