awesome bass fishing towards the evening, lots of gar in the spring, panfish of course, should have fun with the bass as long as you have access to a boat, fish near the channel into lake o, I've gotten good sized pike and bass there before.

Been quite a while for me, so I am going back many years. But yes to Bass, Pike, 'eyes and also all Panfish.also some huge Bowfin.
An old timer told me about a one eyed Pike that is huge and has apparently been there since the beginning of time, that was 40 years ago, but maybe 'Ole One Eye is still around.
The channel from East lake to Lake O were popular haunts.

Its still commercial fished for pan fish !  if that tells you something .

I use to do a closing weekend trip for eyes at east lake but lower water conditions and  a huge drop in numbers ive started passing east lake for now .

But excellent bass fishery . Dusk and pencil weeds equals 10 and 12 in a row casts and catch % ......

Great times
