exactly...sometimes these tackle shops make too much $$$ on add-ons....split rings 25 pcs....$2.99...go to michaels...$1.99 - 200 pcs. lol. if you have a crimping tool you can make your own wire leaders too.

Hey do they sell the split ring pliers too? looking for a cheap one right now. Also split rings  to change some of my newly bought spinners and spoons.

go to your nearest arts and crafts stores, way way cheaper than these tackle shops. I think even wallmart has 'em on the arts section. I bought split rings 200 pcs for $2.99 at michaels. so far I have only used 12.

they got the pliers at Canadian tire for about $5. Go with Dilli's suggestion for the rings themselves as a pack of 20 or something is $4 even at CT

as soon as bass closes, i will start fishing for pike again....I will try to pass on salmon this year. maybe fish a day or 2. i still have roe anyways. I will post some wire leaders I made from dollarama wire...i will find out if they hold up.
