no, a treble is considered a multi pointed hook, not as 3 separate hooks, as per page 12 of the regulations books, the number of single or multi pointed hooks allowed per line is 4

it should be 3 or 4 points total, wait till the snaggers hear that you can have 4 trebles on a line

Treble is one hook, as per page 12. "A hook includes a single-pointed or multiple-pointed hook on a common shaft…"

I just reread the regulations on this topic. Can't believe that they changed it to 4 hooks. What in ontario do you require up to 4 treble hooks. Must have been to remove confusion with lures. Just catering to snaggers that's all I can understand.

I'm always fishing a tandem rig on big water, smaller water i'll typically stick to one.
