I tried the river curing method in spring and couldn't be happier, eggs are perfect and I can tie the bags tight no problem with none popping.

there are pros and cons to both methods. If you can tie your bags so tight without pop, guess what, they aren't easily going to mush/pop on the steelies mouth = less hook up %.

nice bud. try buying the minced garlic jars and putting a few pieces in those bags. you might be surprised how effective it can be ;)

 

just keep them sepperate in a baggie or something so theres no contamination to the natural ones
