Question...  Do you need a sports fishing license to target muskie?

I forgot where I read that from

I don't know for sure, but I don't think you need a sport fishing liscence just to target them. If you wanted to keep them maybe.

If you are targeting musky where a conservation limit is 0 then you require a sport fishing license.

Question: St Clair is currently a muddy disaster after two straight days of 50km/h winds. In low clarity do you guys think it's better to use a black or a white(pearl). This will be for casting Bulldawgs and jigging bondys. Thanks.

I'm no muskie pro but I use black when targetting most species when fishing in muddy water. Black contrasts well against the muddy water

To be honest I like to use the color red with muddy water. Black and blue is a classic color all around but red with a lot of noise seems to be best.

Interesting. The closest thing. I have is orange which is a pretty popular colour around here.

Yeah right on board with alwayscatching there. My rule of thumb is use opposite colours of your light conditions, Bright and sunny: darker baits. Dark and cloudy, lighter baits and lures. depending on the trope conditions i'll switch up colours too. Muddy water I favour reds, yellow and oranges, clear waters I go metallics and, blues, greens, etc. that being said, sometimes you just have to throw it all out the window and fire out anything until you find something that works.
