Go to the Collins hackle site, very nice stuff for a reasonable price and canadian based.

Ah sorry I miss typed. I meant to say Howard hackle, Collins is good stuff too though. And the reason you can't find the stuff in stores is because they do carry it but it sells out very quickly (in part to girls who want to use it as hair extensions).

Call around to the Sail locations as well, we carry a decent low grade 1/4 saddle for 15 bucks, they come in grizzly but we're out in Vaughan.

Nothing grown within Ontario if that's what you're asking. For stores you'll just have to call around, most places carry it you just have to find somewhere with it in stock. I checked just out of curiosity yesterday and as it turns out the cheap option that we have at Sail is actually brought in by the same distributor as Whiting, not sure if it's from them but it may be a rebranded 1/4 saddle. I do find the stuff to be a little webby compared to good Whitings though.
